During this UP Game, we will spend the first four nights renting out Kawoq Forest entirely and then the following two nights at Villa Samya

For travellers seeking renewal, serenity, and a spark of adventure, this is your haven. ‘Kawoq’ is a Mayan word representing community, fire, feminine energy, healing and expanded consciousness. With this name, we intend to hold the space as a living, breathing entity as it constantly grows and evolves. Kawoq Forest is an organic, expansive process and teaches us the joys of change, nature and authenticity. We will Immerse ourselves in an authentic experience designed to nourish our bodies, minds, and souls - and rediscover our vitality in harmony with nature.

Villa Samaya

In Sanskrit, Sumaya means “a long-awaited dream come true,” while in Arabic it translates as “a little piece of paradise.” Both meanings beautifully reflect the intention behind our work and continue to inspire our service.

Villa Sumaya, nestled in Santa Cruz la Laguna on the shores of Lake Atitlán, began in 2001 with the purchase of the lakefront Maya Rose House, once a beloved family retreat. Since then, they’ve transformed and expanded it with careadding a restaurant, boutique shop, serene courtyard, hot tub, sauna, and four healing huts offering a wide range of spa therapies.

Costs

Participation is $‎3000 per person which covers all meals, experiences, accommodation at all locations.

Solo rooms and suites are $‎4000.

UP Game participation fees are designed to only cover the costs of the creation of the experience.

For NGO and low income leaders there are Academy scholarship positions available in the UP Game for a cost of $‎2000.

We have 12 local participation places without accommodation which starts from $150/day.
